Ford Starter motor 12V-2.1kW, 19k 12V - 2.1kW, 19k YOU ACCEPT NO CLAIMS ON STARTER RELATED ISSUES MODELS: Ford 2.0TDCi / 2.4TDCi 2000- SYMPTOM: The drive "misses", does not engage, gap in the starter bushing, worn gears REASON: The construction of the two-part flywheel. The friction disc between the two parts wears prematurely and produces dust and metal particles that are sucked into the starter motor. The wear causes starter motor and clutch failures as the flywheel becomes unbalanced. Please call for further information on measures! MEASURES: Check if the old starter motor is contaminated. Check the condition of the flywheel. Clean the clutch housing or replace the flywheel if necessary.
